Trustee

The Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust (LWPT) is currently served by a loyal Board of Trustees. We believe that we need to extend our remit and that there are people with relevant skill sets who can enable us to extend the areas that we are currently work in and become the primary charity working in this area. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced Trustees and also those that have not considered this type of volunteering previously. Trustees have specific roles and duties (as laid out in our recruitment document) and our key requirement is a belief in the work we do and the desire to help us achieve our aims.

This is a fantastic chance to join the Trustee Board of a national Christian charity that supports preachers across all denominations. The charity has developed from strong Methodist roots and aims to be a truly ecumenical charity; much of our work is in its infancy. Trustees who want to make a difference, help shape our future activity and achieve our aims of providing resources, grants and events for those that want to or who are currently involved in preaching and are sought. We currently deliver exciting opportunities such as our Sermon of the Year Competition, in partnership LST, and our well regarded magazine Preach, but we want new Trustees to help us grow and help deliver our vision.

Currently there are a minimum of for meetings per year which usually take place in London and occasional meetings at the office in Watford.
